Simone Kerr

LCSW, QS, CCTP

Hi, I'm Simone R. Kerr, LCSW, CCTP. I'm a licensed clinical social worker, certified clinical trauma professional, EDMR trained and one of the proud co-founders of Ashè, a non-profit organization dedicated to connecting women through community events focusing on mental health issues.

I hold a Bachelor's degree in Neuroscience and Behavior, which has deepened my understanding of the intricate workings of the mind and behavior. I also have a Master's of Social Work specializing in trauma-informed care, which has equipped me with the skills and knowledge to support individuals on their healing journeys.

Throughout my 8-year career, I have worked with diverse populations, including those struggling with addiction, incarcerated parents, first responders, veterans, women in distress, and individuals with dual diagnoses. My approach to therapy is grounded in evidence-based practices, drawing from neurobiology and social science. I believe in the power of empowerment, values alignment, systems thinking, and positive thinking to help individuals overcome the damaging effects of trauma and navigate their path to healing.

Take the first step towards growth.
