Licences describe the profession a clinician is licensed in. Certifications describe additional training. Neither tells you whether a particular clinician is the right fit — that comes from the conversation.
Ask about fit before you commit.
Call to ask who is currently taking clients, in which format and at which office. It is a reasonable question and the team expects it.
