Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern
Julia Fischgrund
RMHCI
Julia offers individual therapy for adolescents ages 14 and older and adults navigating anxiety, depression, behavioral concerns, stress, grief, trauma, and life transitions.
For adolescents, Julia’s clinical interests include family conflict, changes within the home, divorce and separation, peer and relationship difficulties, self-esteem, and challenges expressing emotions or needs. She works to understand what may be happening beneath a teen’s behavior and how relationships, experiences at home, and family dynamics may be contributing. When beneficial, Julia integrates parents and family members into individual therapy to strengthen communication, address patterns within the family system, and support change beyond the therapy room.
Julia also works with adults navigating relationship difficulties, codependency, family conflict, divorce, infidelity, people-pleasing, overthinking, and difficulty setting boundaries or expressing their needs. She helps clients explore how past experiences and relationships may contribute to patterns such as overgiving, losing their voice in relationships, or putting others’ needs before their own.
Her areas of interest include attachment wounds, inner child work, relationship and family patterns and family dynamics. Using an attachment- and systems-based approach, Julia helps clients better understand where their patterns come from, strengthen their sense of self, and develop healthier ways of connecting with others.

Good things to ask.
Caseloads, formats and areas of focus change over time, so the practice answers these on the phone rather than publishing something that may be out of date.
