Meet Carol
Repairing connection within the family.
Using an attachment-based approach, Carol helps family members recognize patterns that leave them feeling unheard or disconnected. Her work emphasizes reattunement—learning to notice, understand, and respond to one another’s emotional needs—and repairing connection after difficult interactions.
Carol also enjoys supporting new mothers as they navigate changes in identity, relationships, expectations, and daily life. Therapy offers space to explore the difficulties of motherhood, ask for support, and strengthen connection with themselves and their families.
Her clinical interests include trauma, anxiety, body image concerns, ADHD, oppositional defiant disorder (ODD), and autism, with attention to how these concerns affect family dynamics. She also works with young adults.
Carol leads Broward Therapists’ Stronger Together family program and facilitates parenting workshops, including The Connected Parent Series, offering practical strategies for strengthening connection at home.
